Elegance

WOOD CRAFT 2011

     Stingrays have an enchanting, almost mesmerizing swimming motion through the ocean. They remind me of birds effortlessly soaring through the skies. I challenged myself to try to capture the essence of its movement while maintaining its elegant effortless action. It's a stable sculpture combined with a mobile sculpture. It was sourced mainly from unwanted wood around my house.
